British Telecommunications Plc’s BT North America unit has teamed up with Vienna, Virginia based Legent Corp to provide a comprehensive interface for North American companies using Electronic Data Interchange services by increasing performance five-fold over conventional bisynchronous services: the interface will transmit documents via Legent’s STX product for non-SNA access and BT North America’s EDI Net global network services.
