An intruder broke into Ross Perot’s Virginia headquarters in Richmond over the weekend and erased information on 17,000 supporters on the hard disk of a computer, as well as a form letter used in campaign mailings – but the Ross for Boss campaign is sufficiently computer-literate (could it be other?) that it had everything backed up and stored away from the office; the team says it does not think the act was sabotage and refused to classify it as a political act, instead likening it to someone walking in and taking your Rolodex, United Press International reports; nothing was taken from the office, but the intruder left a sanitary napkin with Go Perot written on it.
