Convergent Technologies Ltd has launched the TL-FAX, a module for use on Convergent’s own CTOS-based N-Gen workstations which can unattended, transmit and receive Group III-compatible messages: the TL-FAX board contains a 9,600bps modem for Group III faxes, as well as a Hayes-compatible 1,200/300bps modem, scanner interface, and 512Kb RAM; priced at $2,000, the module is available in the UK only from Cambridge-based Technologic Ltd.
