The consensus seems to be that John Sculley was guilty of terminological inexactitude when he said there would be no new Apple Computer Inc machines this year, and that the 68030-based Mac will come out on September 19 (CI No 1,010): the base model is expected to have an 80Mb disk, 4Mb memory, and an optional floppy that reads MS-DOS and OS/2 formats as well as Mac ones.
