Key Pair Technologies has unveiled a new family of cloud security and virtualisation products to support building and operating public and private clouds.

According to Key Pair, the new family includes Cloud Security – SME edition, Cloud Manager – Enterprise Edition, and Cloud Manager – Data Center Edition. The Cloud Security – SME edition provides features such as web and host single sign-on (Web SSO and Host SSO), SAML 2.0 based federated authentication, pre-integrated adapters for credential store/authentication, including AD/LDAP, Radius, Kerberos-KDC and ODBC, and agentless application integration. In addition, it supports firewall for infrastructure security, access policy enforcement and multi-factor authentication with built-in mobile OTP server and smart phone client.

The company said that the Cloud Manager – Enterprise Edition enables and manages enterprise private clouds on virtual platforms and provides virtualised firewall with inter-VM and intra-VM authentication and authorisation to enable multi-tenancy, in-line policy enforcement and application SSO. In addition, it includes interfaces to external policy management servers, resource management, monitoring and auditing and compliance capability.

In addition, the Cloud Manager – Data Centre Edition addresses provides on demand access to computing resources, provisioning, allocation and pooling of resources, remote monitoring and application metering with the level of access control security needed for deployments in cloud.

Shivaram Mysore, chief technology officer and founder of Key Pair, said: The Key Pair Appliance product for the SMB marketplace offers SAML assertion with agent less application integration in a drop-ship, zero-day deployment mode at speed approaching 10x of other competing products.

“The Key Pair Enterprise solution has solved a problem challenging many of today’s leading IT organisations of seamlessly enforcing centralised security polices in virtual environments. And with an eye to the evolution of infrastructure as a service, the Key Pair Data Centre solution enables data centres to host secure private clouds on a pay-as-you-basis.
