Hewlett-Packard Co is to make key local-area network support services available through computer dealers in the US under an HP Dealer Premier Network Support programme, which enables dealers to offer the HP CableSite service for planning, installation and testing of cable for local-area networks; HP PC-LAN support of existing and new customers’ networks, and HP SuccessLine hardware support of standard multivendor microcomputers and peripherals; dealers can offer any combination of the services in conjunction with their own specialities and areas of expertise through direct referral or subcontract to HewlettPackard.
