As part of the preparations for 1992 and the European Single Market, the UK Department of Trade & Industry has launched a series of 25 management action briefings to be held at different host sites throughout the UK for senior and chief executives from small and medium sized businesses to attend: the briefings, which are sponsored by Lloyds Bank Plc will concentrate on the integrated resource management of design, quality, purchasing and supply, and manufacturing; the briefings are intended to be practical with open discussion between guest speakers from companies like excavators JCB, Boots and British Aerospace and the local audiences.
