Barclays Registrars Ltd has awarded ICL a UKP2.5m contract for its part in a new share registration system: replacing IBM and Honeywell equipment, the ICL Series 39 Model 65 mainframe and DRS 6000 processor will be linked via Officepower software to serve 32 users in the shareholder services department.
