Odyssey Software and Conceivium have signed a technology partnership agreement that is expected to enable companies manage Microsoft Windows Mobile and Research In Motion (RIM) BlackBerry devices from the same console.

Conceivium said that it is in the process of integrating Odyssey’s Athena into its device monitoring and management suite, which will allow it to extend the capabilities of its offerings for remote monitoring and troubleshooting to include Windows Mobile support. It’s MobileAnalyzer and MobileMonitor agents currently support the BlackBerry platform.

According to Odyssey Software, Athena is designed to integrate into the native infrastructure of existing management consoles without the need for proprietary Odyssey Software servers or consoles, unlike all other device management products, which require their own proprietary server, console and database infrastructure.

Jonas Gyllensvaan, CEO of Conceivium, said: “By integrating Athena into our current BlackBerry mobile device management solution, we are able to offer our customers a truly unique product that provides extensive capabilities for the Windows Mobile platform.”

Earlier in January 2009, Odyssey Software and CloudSync have formed a technology partnership to integrate Odyssey’s Athena technology into CloudSync’s console for mobile device management system.
