Oracle launches new version of PeopleSoft Enterprise Financials and Supply Chain Management

Adds supplier relationship management, enterprise automation, supply chain and asset life cycle management offerings

Oracle has launched a new version of PeopleSoft Enterprise Financials and Supply Chain Management 9.1, with new enhancements including, supplier relationship management, enterprise service automation (projects), supply chain and asset life cycle management offerings.

According to Oracle, the PeopleSoft supplier relationship management 9.1 expands procurement control by enforcing procurement policies, engaging internal stakeholders, and extending supplier management programs; and PeopleSoft supply chain management 9.1 optimises processing across the entire supply chain.

The PeopleSoft enterprise service automation 9.1 supports full project lifecycle management with tools to enforce fiscal discipline, support for public sector, research, staffing, and government contracting industry functions and PeopleSoft Asset Lifecycle Management 9.1 optimises capital infrastructure decisions and helps reduce equipment downtime with new analytics, streamlined asset and lease accounting and configurable alerts to detect and resolve asset-related issues proactively, the company said.

In addition, the PeopleSoft Financials 9.1 helps organisations achieve finance processes by dramatically improving the period close, maximising cash and reducing liabilities, and further automating compliance and financial control, the company claims.
