Tam Retail, a division of Lode Data Systems, has released version 10 of its software product The Assistant Manager (TAM) for all new and existing customers.

According to Tam Retail, the new version of TAM comes with strengthened features in areas such as online reporting, mobile or wireless line-busting, franchise data collection, improvements to eTAM for eCommerce and eStore design and SEO, online ticket sales, membership management, donation automation for its not-for-profit sector, added encryption and security of credit card transactions for PCI compliance and other enhancements.

Bruce Lode, executive vice president and co-founder of Tam Retail, said: We support diverse group of clientele. No two retail businesses or organisations are identical, so we are constantly learning and improving our suite of solutions according to needs that we encounter in reality, as well as linking about where the industry is heading. Version 10 is our strongest Tam product ever, but we’re never finished!”

Tam Retail provides integrated retail management software offerings including point of sale, inventory management, accounting, eCommerce, customer relationship management, admission tickets and membership management

In some ways, the playing field is levelling for speciality retailers as technology becomes more accessible and they are able to offer many of the same services to their customers that big box retailers can, and also leverage insights gained from all the data available, Mr Lode added.

Lode anticipates other benefits in Tam’s Microsoft .NET and Microsoft SQL Server technology platform that will create additional advantages and cost savings for developers and end users.
