Tecore Networks has launched Hosted Managed Services for mobile operators, which it claims to be designed to enable operators to offer communications services.
By deploying radio access network (RAN) and plugging it through IP into Tecore’s operational core platform, operators can deliver communications services including roaming and long-distance interconnections, the company said.
According to Tecore, it offers hosted operator services such as standard core network operations and value-added services including voice and data, voicemail, sms/mms, roaming, prepaid, long distance, E911 and CALEA. It also provides hosted application services for commercial and government clients to implement mobile applications as managed services.
The company said that it provides analysis, site surveys, infrastructure selection and procurement, installation and commissioning, and device testing and integration and network assurance with monitoring and trouble-shooting, progressing to capacity optimisation.
Tecore said that managed services allow operators to maintain focus on serving the end customer. Network types can be of complete networks supporting paying subscribers, to specialised networks such as the Intelligent Network Access Controller.
Bruce Portell, chief operating officer of Tecore Networks, said: “With Tecore Hosted Managed Services, we’ve introduced options for emerging operators such as rural carriers, new national networks and government agencies to offer and manage advanced communication services.
“Utilising our portfolio of technology solutions and end-to-end hosted managed services, operators can entrust their continuous technology advancement to the experts, and focus on winning and satisfying customers or carrying out their missions.”
