British Telecommunications Plc has teamed up with Santa Barbara, California-based Advanced Computer Communications to link its T-Net local area networks to wide area X25 packet-switching networks and private circuits: British Telecom will rebadge Advanced Computer’s local area network bridge-routers and sell them as part of the T-Net range; the bridge-routers can bridge all network protocols and route DECnet and TCP/IP packets.
