Commenting on its figures (see page five) power supplies and electrical parts maker BSR International Plc attributes the improved performance – pretax profits up 38% – to an increase focus on its core business of making top range power supplies and pruning of peripheral interests which saw the disposal of its consumer arm Capetronic and its electricals unit Tenbey: it is now negotiating to sell its dbx arm.
