AT&T Co, forecasting its first rise in turnover since 1985 for this year, says that the increase will be fuelled by double-digit growth in product sales and continued strength in the long distance phone business: on the computer side, the company wants to bolster the business by acquiring a software or a systems integration company; another manufacturer is less likely.
