On the same day that Siemens Nixdorf Informationssysteme AG finally came into being and the elegant Nixdorf red was drowned under a tidal wave of ghastly Siemens off-blue, Siemens AG created a new company, Siemens Private Communication System Inc to hold all its PABX interests in the US – its interest in Rolm Systems, Tel Plus Communications Co, and Rolm Co, the joint venture with IBM; the new company will also include the PABX development division in Boca Raton, Florida, the manufacturing plant in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, Gold Seal Dealerships, and government sales.
