Computer trading company Computer Dynamics Inc has launched an add-on Winchester disk subsystem, the CDS-2100, for attachment to Sun Microsystems’ Sun 3 and Sun 4 machines: the subsystem combines drives from Fujitsu Ltd with dual drive controllers from Emulex Corp, transfer rate is 1.25Mbytes-per-second and there are four capacities, the maximum being 640Mb; prices are $11,220 to $29,180.
