Cipher Data Products Inc reckons that an arbitration decision on the lawsuit brought by Archive Corp that gives neither side anything represents a victory: Archive had claimed that Cipher was in breach of a 1981 licence agreement; Cipher says the verdict means that Cipher’s title to the 5.25 form factor tape drive patents is confirmed.
