Moving away from the executive image of pagers, British Telecommunications Plc and Amour Pharmaceutical Ltd have launched the Amourpage for haemophilia sufferers all 700 families with haemophiliac children under the age of 16 are being offered pagers free, enabling parents to move around freely but be readily available if their child needs to be taken to hospital quickly; the scheme follows other paging applications such as those for patients waiting for organ transplants.
