Manthan Systems, a provider of business intelligence and analytics software, has unveiled ARC 6.0 that features advanced analytics, data mining and optimisation capabilities in their comprehensive performance management suite.

The company said with the new version 6.0, it aims to target the spectrum of decision making from business intelligence (BI) and performance management (PM) to advanced analytics and optimisation, aiming to compete in new areas with a broad range of analytic capabilities.

According to Manthan Systems, the new version comes with a portfolio of analytic products targeted at major functions within retail, like Merchandise Analytics, Finance Analytics, Customer Analytics, Supplier Collaboration and Analytics.

In addition, advanced analytics and data mining capabilities allow retailers to explore data to find patterns, relationships and hidden insights that can be modelled for decision making.

Major optimisation areas include Customer Segmentation, Market Basket Analysis, Customer Churn Analysis, Sales Forecasting, Product Rationalisation, Activity Based Costing Analysis and Product Affinity Analysis.
