Affiliated Computer Services (ACS) has won a $72m three-year IT contract extension from DCP Midstream. The new contract for the Denver-based energy company includes new scope of work and continues ACS’ existing relationship with the company through 2015.

Under the contract, ACS will continue to provide IT infrastructure outsourcing for end user and desktop support; midrange and network services; messaging services; document management; security services; and application services and disaster recovery.

In addition, the company will assist DCP with evaluating and implementing new technologies such as virtual desktop and provide additional IT services including Telecommunication Expense Management Services (TEMS). It will also provide additional application support and security services.
