Motorola has expanded its Android portfolio with the launch of eighth smartphone Quench with Motoblur, a content delivery service that organises messages and synchronises contacts.

According to Motorola, the new smatphone features 3.1-inch touch-screen display, a touch pad, dual microphones and noise cancellation technology, five megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash and Adobe Flash Lite that enables media content such as banners and videos to be displayed.

In addition, the new smartphone allows users to download music from an MP3 store while integrating third-party apps such as TuneWiki, SoundHound, GoTV and YouTube.

It also provides 3G and Wi-Fi access, and includes aGPS and stereo bluetooth.

Motoblur is an Android-powered content delivery service that syncs contacts, posts, messages and photos from sources such as Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Gmail, work and personal e-mail and Last.FM.

Quench with Motoblur is expected to be available in the first quarter of 2010. In the US, the device will be called Cliq XT with Motoblur and is expected to be available through T-Mobile USA from March 2010.
