EDL Consulting, a technology services firm engaged in the integration of eCommerce, CRM and business intelligence applications, has launched its CloudCraze eCommerce platform.

EDL said that CloudCraze allows companies to define and configure eCommerce websites. Once configured, these websites can be deployed on the Force.com platform, available to Salesforce.com customers.

According to EDL, the CloudCraze eCommerce platform features include: delegated administration which allows functional business leads to administer featured products and change visual elements of the system; extensible UI architecture to allow expedited branding of websites; promotions and coupon functionality; improved search and filtering; and built in Content Management System (CMS) capabilities.

CloudCraze allows both CRM and eCommerce applications to reside on the same platform, leveraging the same Customer and Product metadata objects, the company said.

Bill Loumpouridis, president and CEO of EDL, said: “The CloudCraze mission is simple — to harness the power of Cloud-computing to deliver instantaneous inexpensive eCommerce capabilities to benefit businesses of all sizes.

”CloudCraze makes Cloud Computing very real and achievable. Infinite scalability meets minimal IT infrastructure with an intuitive interface that allows marketers to make quick updates to their websites to keep customers coming back for more.”
