Amstrad Plc is suing Xebec Corp for alleged breach of contract, breach of warranty, fraud and negligent misrepresentation with claims for $7m actual, $20m punitive damages in connection with the troublesome disks in the Amstrad PC1512 Personalike. Xebec says Amstrad’s quarrel is with Xebec Systems Ltd here, and should be heard in the UK, not Nevada, where Amstrad filed suit.
