In a bid to gain entry to manufacturing sites, Cullinet Software Ltd says it has appointed London Specialist Software Ltd, LS3, of Leamington Spa – yes, truly – as its first IBM-oriented complementary software vendor for its Enterprise Computing range of database tools and expert system products: the 10-year old company’s flagship product is Popims, an IBM-based product for automating distribution and sales order processing software; current LS3 customers include auto firms Peugeot Talbot, BMW, and Citroen.
