Oracle and HP have launched the HP and Oracle Consulting Accelerate Solution for Industrial Manufacturing, to help midsize industrial manufacturing companies streamline their IT implementations.
The companies said that the new offering provides complete hardware, software and services to help midsize industrial manufacturers manage and grow their businesses.
Consisting of the Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 pre-loaded on HP infrastructure hardware, and created and delivered by Oracle Consulting, the HP and Oracle Consulting Accelerate Solution for Industrial Manufacturing is designed for midsize US businesses with limited resources, the company said.
According to Oracle, the new Accelerate Solution is built on HP’s BladeSystem infrastructure and StorageWorks Modular Smart Arrays. Pre-loaded and pre-configured at HP Factory Express, the offering helps reduce the length of implementation cycle and accelerate time to value and return on investment. It includes on-site hardware set-up and application-specific technical support during implementation.
In addition, the offering combines Oracle Applications and Business Accelerators with industry- and geography-specific deployment expertise to solve business problems in deployable packages.
