Proving that it’s serious about selling off shares in Unix, AT&T Co is hard at work on a share prospectus to offer pieces of the Unix Software Operation to interested industry players, president Larry Dooling told a packed Esther Dyson Software Summit at Comdex: the basis for the prospectus is Dooling’s business plan, and the offer would be for other firms to share in a potentially profitable firm.
