Given the absurdly-inflated nature of these things in the US, we always thought the $20m Pompano Beach, Florida-resident inventor Peter James Tsakanikas was demanding was a mite modest – he has now revised his patent infringement lawsuit against AT&T Co and McCaw Cellular Communications Inc, and is looking for $12,000m in royalties: the patent at issue is what he calls Alphabet Phone, and he says he revised the figure because the companies’ cellular networks as well as indiviual’s cellular phones allegedly infringe the dial patent.
