Japanese electronics companies are quietly but steadily building up their investments in US concerns, and in the latest move, PABX marketer Aim Telephones Inc, Parsippany, New Jersey has signed a letter of intent to sell a 10% shareholding to NEC America Inc for $8.49 a share, and granting the firm an option to take it to as much as 51%.
