Air Co of Osaka, distributor for Unify Corp in Japan, has picked up Hunter Systems Inc’s XDOS emulator for MS-DOS, which runs under Unix: the software will be offered on personal computers such as NEC Corp’s 9801, Hitachi Ltd’s 2050 office workstation, and Sony Corp’s NEWS Unix machines; it costs around $1,140, and Air is expecting to sell 1,000 copies in the first year of marketing XDOS.
