Acer America has released Aspire One AO532h netbooks featuring Intel Atom Processor N450, 10.1-inch WSVGA Acer CrystalBrite LED-backlit display and integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3150.

According to Acer, the new netbooks, which are 1-inch thin, weigh around 2-1/2 pounds. It comes with Mobile Intel NM10 Express Chipset, large keyboard with multi-gesture touchpad, several battery options including six-cell Li-ion (5600 mAh) battery that delivers up to 10 hours of battery life or a 6-cell Li-ion (4400 mAh) for up to 8 hours battery life.

The new netbooks also feature 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, ethernet LAN connectivity, built-in webcam and digital microphone, Windows 7 starter edition with 1024MB DDR2 667MHz memory, 160GB 5400RPM SATA hard drive, multi-in-1 digital media card reader, InviLink Nplify 802.11b/g/Draft-N Wi-Fi certified, three USB 2.0 ports.

Ray Sawall, senior manager of product marketing for Acer America, said: “These new Aspire One netbooks offer mobile users some of the features and performance of a larger notebook, while providing a highly portable, compact design that’s easy to take anywhere. Consumers can browse the Internet, check email, share photos, enjoy their entertainment applications, and even get work done wherever their travel takes them.”

The netbooks come in a choice of onyx blue, garnet red and silver matrix colours and are available at MSRP of $299.99.
