Misys, an application software and services company, has entered into a partnership with mobile banking and payments solution provider, ClairMail, to enhance and extend its mobile banking solution, Misys Mobile. Misys can now offer its customers a complete range of e-banking solutions including the latest mobile banking technologies appropriate for any customer segment.

With the addition of ClairMail, Misys Mobile can now deliver SMS-based services, web-based mobile banking and its SmartClient downloadable applications, all in its banking customers’ own branding.

Misys and ClairMail have developed pre-packaged modules to ensure smooth and seamless integration with the Misys range of banking applications. These include Misys BankFusion Universal Banking, Misys Midas Plus, Misys Equation and Misys Bankmaster.

The ClairMail platform provides consumers with comprehensive mobile banking and payments functionality, optimising user experience across any delivery method like SMS, email, mobile web or Smart Client application. The ClairMail platform also delivers personalised and conversational alerting capabilities that empower users to conduct transactions, and respond to or resolve account activity within the mobile channel.

Olivier Berthier, director of solutions, transaction banking at Misys, said: It is no longer sufficient to offer mobile banking in as many different flavours as possible. Banks need to partner with a solution provider that will help them maximise mobile banking adoption among their customers, while also understanding all bank-customer interaction requirements, whether via mobile phone or other e-banking channels.

Pete Daffern, CEO of ClairMail, said: Today’s partnership with Misys significantly extends our global footprint into Europe, Asia, Middle East and Africa, and provides us direct access to the strategic banking relationships that Misys has in these international markets.
