The Canon Software subsidiary of Canon Inc has come out with a new release of the Super Canon Aid software development tool for mainframe users: an enhanced version of Canon Aid, it is claimed to deliver a three-fold improvement in productivity and has enhanced dictionary and editing functions; designed to generate applications from simple specifications, the program costs $257,000 and runs under IBM MVS, Fujitsu OSIV and Hitachi VOS3.
