Scientific Micro Systems Inc has completed the sale of substantially all the assets of its SuperMac Technology Division to a new company organised and led by Sigma Partners of San Jose, California: the purchase price of about $10m was a combination of $8.9m cash and $1.1m in liabilities assumed; the Mountain View, California company also sold its Levco product lines to Sikog Corp, a company founded by general manager of the Levco division, Hector Monreal, for $187,000 in cash, assumption of liabilities and a secured promissory note; Levco will continue to develop and market products for the Apple Mac.
