Atari Corp has launched the latest addition to its proprietary personal computer range. The TT030 is based on a Motorola 68030 and is compatible with Atari’s ST range; it is pitched at the desktop publishing and graphical applications market. It comes with ATX – an Atari system described as complying with Unix System V.3.1. The TT comes with SCSI, VME, MIDI and RS232 ports. Price for a TT with 30Mb disk is UKP2,300. In September, the TT will be launched with full Unix System V.3.2; pricing will be available then. Atari has also made its entry into the 32-bit MS-DOS market with the 16MHz 80386SX-based SX386 at UKP1,500 with 1Mb and 40Mb disk.
