Dell has extended its Vostro line with the new 430 mini tower desktop, targeted at meeting the needs of small and medium business.

According to Dell, the new Vostro 430 is powered with Intel Core i5 or optional Intel Core i7 processors, and can be accommodated with 16GB of DDR3 SDRAM and up to 1TB of internal storage.

The new mini tower desktop comes with graphics options from Nvidia and ATI, Microsoft’s Windows 7 operating system and supports dual display and multi-touch technology. It also comes with pre-installed video conferencing software, which enables businesses optimise their communications and collaborations costs, the company claims.

In addition, the Vostro 430 comes with expandability options with the ability to add memory, PCI/PCIe cards and HDD. It has 10 external USB ports, four total PCI/PCIe expansion slots for network, sound or graphics cards, optional Blu-ray disk drives for data storage and video playback, PS/2 and serial ports to enable use of older devices; and optional 19-in-1 media card reader. The Vostro 430 is available at prices starting from $699.
