Single Source Systems, a developer of service management software, has revealed the upcoming release its SM-Plus Enterprise v3.20 service business software. SM-Plus is designed for use by product service and support organisations, independent service companies and service-intensive distribution organisations.

The company said that the latest v3.20 version of SM-Plus Enterprise is built on Microsoft-based technology architecture and is compatible with both Microsoft Vista and Microsoft SQL 2005.

According to the company, SM-Plus is an integrated information system that manages and maintains both company-owned and customer-owned assets. SM-Plus provides functional service business process support, including incident tracking, scheduling and dispatch, wireless mobile field service, work order, warranty and also service contract management.

The company claims that all functions integrate to the inherent back-office financials, inventory, purchasing and management reporting functionality of SM-Plus Enterprise – meeting the requirements of an entire service organisation.

New functional enhancements in SM-Plus v3.20 include customer relationship manager (CRM), which provides integrated CRM functionality; streamlines the flow of sales data to field technicians, inventory management, schedule/dispatch and accounting teams; data views and ad hoc report writing, which allows users to generate and analyse real-time reports to identify any trouble areas; role-based dashboards/workbenches, which helps employees manage their most used data and allows for monitoring of continous KPIs through customisable gauges.

Other enhancements include GPS tracking, which enables scheduling/dispatch personnel to view current and historical coordinates of service vehicles, provides service order productivity analysis and billing verification for performance audits; extended search database, which allows user to perform complete system database review through keyword entry.
