Novell Inc’s ManageWise LAN management software is supposed to get a shot in the arm today when Computer Associates International Inc announces the two companies will work to integrate ManageWise with CA’s Unicenter systems management software. CA has been aggressively signing new partners for Unicenter as it competes with IBM Corp’s Tivoli Systems, Groupe Bull, Hewlett-Packard and other vendors for supremacy in systems management. Amongst the latest it has buddied-up with include DEC, NCR, SAP and Tandem.
