Nevion, a video transport solution provider for broadcasters, telecommunications service providers and government entities, has unveiled VikinX Sublime SL-3GHD128128 router that provides the routing of 3G/HD/SD-SDI signals.
According to Nevion, the new VikinX Sublime router have a range of features including support for 3G/HD/SD-SDI and DVB-ASI at bit rates of 19.4Mbps to 3Gbps. It can be split into 1, 2 and 4 partitions on different levels and reportedly consumes about 200 watts.
Other features include Ethernet and RS-232 control interfaces and reclocking on 3G/HD-SDI/SDI signals. Reclockers may also be turned off to support E4/STM-1e signals.
Nevion said that the new router is also integrated with its Multicon control system, which provides a single control interface for VikinX routing and Flashlink signal processing equipment. In addition, the new router has embedded support for IP-based CPs and web panels and all third-party protocols supported by Multicon.

The VikinX Sublime product line represents a range of matrix sizes available and covers signal formats from analogue video/audio to SD and HDTV, the company said.
