netForensics, a provider of information security management offerings, has unveiled new data security enhancements to nFX Cinxi One.

The company claims nFX Cinxi One incorporates new digital signing and encryption technologies into log management offering, and creates a secure chain of custody that ensures the integrity of enterprise log information needed to demonstrate regulatory compliance.

The new offering uses secure methods to digitally sign files using a hash and time stamp on top of encryption to secure the confidentiality of the information resident in the file, the company said.

According to netForensics, the nFX Cinxi One combines log management capabilities with correlation technology, real-time monitoring and an integrated incident response system to give organisations visibility into security and compliance posture; prioritised threat identification, alerting and remediation guidance; log management reporting for compliance and audit; and on-board log storage with access to event logs.

Tracy Hulver, vice president of product management and marketing at netForensics, said: With nFX Cinxi One, organisations operating on tight budgets no longer have to choose between a log management solution that demonstrates that proper security measures were in place after an attack and proactive threat management capabilities that would prevent an attack in the first place.

“nFX Cinxi One is the only security appliance that provides secure log management and advanced correlation in a single solution with a pricing model that allows customers to easily acquire both of these key security and compliance competencies.
