International Data Corp says the systems integration market reached $35.32bn in 1996, up 9.4% on 1995. The US market accounted for 48.1% of that amount – by 2001 IDC says it’ll be worth 51.9% of the total. Europe accounted for 8.7% of the total in 1996; IDC figures Y2K and single Eurpopean currency conversion costs will drive that amount down to 7.3%.
