Lotus Development Corp has got together with a Mountain View, California youngster called Diffusion Inc which has got some push technology called IntraExpress that distributes corporate information, such as price lists and other business material. It’s different from PointCast, which Lotus is already very close to, in that it’s not intended to deliver news feeds. There’s no financial relationship between the two companies right now, just a joint marketing agreement. Diffusion says its got some other relationships with software vendors, but it can’t reveal who just yet. IntraExpress, supporting both Lotus Domino and older versions of Notes, ships next month.
