Avant! Corp, the company wrapped up in a legal wrangle with Cadence Design Systems Inc after Cadence accused it of stealing technology and led to two executives being charged with felony (CI No 3,174) has announced a Federal Judge has agreed with its motion for a stay in the civil action brought against it. Avant! says it will continue to defend itself and believes it will ultimately win.
