Teneo has selected iTrinegy to provide offerings to help its customers address networked application performance issues, de-risk application roll-outs and optimise network utilisation.
iTrinegy offers products such as AppQoS, a networked application response time monitoring app that allows users to conduct ongoing application performance monitoring, issuing alerts when application performance falls below acceptable levels.
iTrinegy also provide offerings to help network managers and engineers design and test networks prior to roll out. The INE (iTrinegy Network Emulator) product range can re-create network conditions such as latency, jitter, packet loss/error/re-ordering and restrictions to bandwidth in order to simulate environments such as wide area networks (WANs), wireless LANs, GPRS, 3G, IP over Radio / Radio over IP (RoIP), satellite or MPLS networks.
Teneo said that it will be able to offer network and application testing/monitoring products by using iTrinegy offerings, which adds to its line-up including Riverbed, Fluke Networks, Plixer and Allot.
Piers Carey, chief executive officer of Teneo, said: “We are very pleased to have iTrinegy as one of our vendor partners in the US. Their solutions are innovative and allow Teneo to deliver a wider range of tools to help our customers manage their network and application performance issues better, and allow for greatly improved network planning and design to iron out any network issues at the test stage.”
