Cadence Design Systems Inc says it has signed a multi-million dollar four-year agreement with LM Ericsson Telefon AB to supply design tools and services to the Swedish mobile phone giant. A spokesperson for Cadence says the agreement is the most extensive pact in the 10-year working relationship between the two companies. Specific financial terms of the deal were not disclosed but Cadence hinted that the value of the deal is in the single digits.
