CrossRoads Software Inc, a newly formed packaged software deployment company is teaming up with PeopleSoft Inc to help the company develop and market packaged software to connect PeopleSoft products with interaction application products. The main intention of the new products, which are expected to be available by the end of the year, is to create a faster, more user-friendly process than traditional custom integration techniques. CrossRoads says that PeopleSoft customers using the company’s manufacturing, finance, distribution and Human Resources Management applications with the CrossRoads package will be able to run combined business processes, capable of spanning multiple applications. Founded in April last year, Burlingame, California-based CrossRoads claims to have pioneered the industry’s first application collaboration software products and is currently waiting for a patent for the technology. PeopleSoft has an agreement with Netscape Communications Corp to make PeopleSoft applications available over the web.
