CampSoftware has released Version 1.4.1 of its FileMaker CRM, FMSmallBusiness (FMSB) which is said to include thirty one updates. The company said that FMSB is a FileMaker-based database that is specifically designed for small businesses to manage the contacts, calendars, and invoice.
CampSoftware claims that with the new version of FMSB, companies can reportedly track and manage all their contacts as well as entire calendar of events and activities. Reportedly, it also integrates documents, schedules, projects, letters, and invoices. It is a cross platform database which runs on Mac and Windows using the FileMaker Pro database platform.
The company said the new feature, ‘Copy to Clipboard’ has been introduced that allows storage of clippings of text and their faster retrieval. Once the clippings are added, it is possible to choose ‘Copy to Clipboard’ menu item from the FMSB menu. A window will appear where a snippet of text can be copied to the clipboard for pasting where needed.
Similarly, the ‘Common Documents’ feature reportedly allows export or emailing of one or more documents simultaneously.
FMSB also provides a web based iPhone interface to contact and calendar events data. In addition, desktop and web based address books and calendars can be updated via vCards. vCal subscriptions also available for iPhone syncing.
The company added that FMSB facilitates task management as it can store activities with the option of assigning them to a project. It also has built in invoicing and products modules that can help with reordering levels. Its built in timers, activities and events help in tracking timelines.
