Believe it or not, there are people who don’t like Microsoft chief Bill Gates, and Adam Pletcher of Illinois is one of them, according to a Bloomberg report. Pletcher, described as a loner in his early twenties who lives with his parents and spends a lot of time in front of the computer, has been arrested and charged with threatening to kill Gates and his wife Melinda if the software king didn’t fork over a cool $5m. Federal agents used an America Online dating service to track down the would-be killer/extortionist. Pletcher has previously brushed with the law, having been accused in February of fraud in an alleged internet scam.
