WNS, a provider of business process outsourcing (BPO) services, has formed a strategic partnership with Trintech Group, a provider of integrated financial governance, risk management and compliance software products. Under the terms of the agreement, WNS will offer its customers financial governance applications, implementation services and technical support in order to increase performance and tighten controls.

Daniel Wollenberg, SVP of global transformation practice at WNS, said: When organisations decide to embark on a transformation strategy of their finance operations, it is critical to partner with a BPO provider that can offer end-to-end capabilities from global operating models and resulting labour arbitrage, process improvement and best practices, and domain/technology innovations, all while complying with regulatory and governance requirements.

Trintech’s Unity financial governance suite, Production Platform for Finance, reportedly provides a control management framework, which enables organisations to plan, perform and report across the entire spectrum of their governance, risk and compliance control efforts.

The companies said that Trintech’s products will support WNS customers, by shortening cycle times, improving financial reporting and reducing the risk of material weaknesses and restatements.

John Harte, general manager of GRC division at Trintech, said: Our combined expertise in helping finance departments achieve operational excellence through automation process control and data-driven insight will result in real benefits for WNS customers. And WNS’s significant experience across multiple industries can only be complemented by Trintech’s own history of success in these markets.
