ABB Asea Brown Boveri Ltd is moving to mop up the large minority in its 54.5%-owned process control systems affiliate ABB-Kent (Holdings) Plc, making an agreed offer of 178 pence a share, UKP62m all told, for the balance: the Swedo-Swiss engineering giant wants to integrate Kent with Combustion Engineering in the US.
